Spring finally arrived in Minnesota just in time for our annual meeting, where we welcomed special guest Carol Cadou, Executive Director of NSCDA and the Dumbarton House Museum. Dame Barbara Burwell graciously arranged for the Dames to meet at the Lafayette Club in Wayzata, where we gathered to hear engaging and lively reports from our officers and chairs, to enjoy each other’s company, and to hear from Carol about the history of women in historic preservation in America. We enjoyed the opportunity to interact, and look forward to next year’s programs. Materials for the business portion of the meeting are available here.

NSCDA-MN President Lois Mackin introduced national NSCDA executive director Carol Cadou's presentation on women in historic preservation.
Lady of Dumbarton House from Minnesota Barbara Burwell challenged members to support Dumbarton House during her report.
Outgoing Historical Activities Chair Jane Howard reported on this year's History Day winners and expressed her appreciation to Dames who have helped with judging projects.
Also on display were printouts of the Minnesota Ancestor Project and our In Memoriam obituary notebook.
