Summer 2024 A Day at the Farm
Dames and guests gathered at the historic farm of Dame Helen Kerwin in Clear Lake Township. We played croquet and corn hole, made floral arrangements, had a picnic lunch while listening to Bud Stimmler, a local historian and author, talk about rivers, ferries, bridges and the history of this farm. Delightful musical accompaniment was provided by The Barn Cats and prizes were given for croquet, best hat, and best flower arrangement. Thank you, Helen, for hosting us, Sandy, for arranging another wonderful event, Andrea for bringing games, and whoever was responsible for holding off the rain until it was time to go home! Another successful day in the life of our Dames.
